Travel insurance is not required for this trip, however we always recommend insuring your trip.
While not required, we strongly recommend carrying equipment insurance as well. Please verify that your policy covers your equipment for international travel if that applies to you for this specific trip. We recommend Hill & Usher and PPA as good starting points for equipment insurance policies. Please note - Gaiz Travel and Creative, LLC dba Photo Nomads is not responsible for your equipment or personal items. If you damage, lose, or incur theft of your equipment or your personal items, Photo Nomads will not be responsible.
The maximum group size for this trip is 12 guests. If more than 6 people sign up for the trip, a 2nd qualified photography instructor will accompany the group to make sure all guests have plenty of opportunities to learn.
We rate this trip easy in terms of physical demands. For the purposes of our shooting, we won't be descending down into the canyon. We'll utilize the rim trail and view points along the Canyon edge, so the amount of physical exertion required will be low. However, please note that the elevation around the south rim of the Grand Canyon is approximately 7,000 feet.
